Holy Spirit Parish Scholarships and Subsidy Applications

Grammar and High School 2025-2026
Holy Spirit Parish Subsidy Applications for Catholic Grammar School and Catholic High School Education are available for parishioners regularly using budget envelopes or regular online parish giving. Applications are available at both church offices or by clicking on the desired link: Catholic High School or Catholic Grammar School. All applications should be submitted by August 1, 2025.

Recognition Ceremony for High School Graduates

The parish will hold a Recognition Ceremony for high school seniors and their parents during 9am Mass at St. Mary’s on Sunday, June 15^th. The Recognition Ceremony will provide an opportunity for the parish to honor, congratulate and pray for our parish high school graduates and their classmates. The parish asks that parents bring their graduate’s baptismal candle to this Mass in order that they might symbolically “pass on” the light of faith to their graduate. If families are unable to locate the graduate’s baptismal candle, we will obtain one for you for this special graduation ceremony. Kindly RSVP to either of our parish secretaries (646-5605 or 985-6252), or to our faith formation director, Carolyn Houston ([email protected]), by Friday, June 13^th and please indicate whether or not your family will need a baptismal candle. A reception will be held in honor of our graduates in the church hall following Mass.
Holy Spirit Parish College Scholarships for High School Seniors

Scholarship applications are available to all high-school seniors of the parish who will be entering college, or a technical, trade, beautician, culinary, or business school. Applications and all attachments must be returned by May 16, 2025. For a two-sided Scholarship application, click HERE

Families with Children in 2025-26

Family "Mass and class" at the parish are held twice monthly on Sunday afternoon from 3:30-5:30pm. Family Faith Formation is open to children of all ages and abilities. Registration is required for all children ages 4-18, regardless of age, or whether they have participated in Family Faith Formation at Holy Spirit Parish previously.

To register for Family Faith Formation:

1. Download and review the Family Faith Formation Handbook
2. Complete the Registration and Contribution Form on pages 8 & 9 of the Handbook, or complete the Family Faith Formation online registration & contribution form below.
3. Provide payment for the text and materials. Payment may be made online or by check payable to Holy Spirit Parish with "Family Faith Formation" written in the memo line. If providing this contribution is a hardship for your family, please contact Carolyn at [email protected] about a scholarship.
